Are you using an Nvidia Card? There is a problem with the driver update - driver update is not done properly unless you delete the old driver and install new one clean. Might fix your problem.

he did a clean windows 10 install, so should he delete the driver then redown load it or?

Hey all. Shame that this is my first post on the forum but my frustration just reached it's highest level.
The game is constantly crashing in the MP mode.
I reinstalled Windows (Win 10 clean install) and updated it via the Windows Update.
I have the latest NV drivers installed.
I unplugged ALL the peripherals except mouse and keyboard.
I re-validated and then re-downloaded the whole game (twice now).
This setup worked perfectly fine since release. I have 1700h logged in without encountering any issues.
No my rig is not overclocked

This is the latest Crash Report #1150028 I got.
Good people of CoH2.org and Relic, please help

You describe a computer and symptoms that were identical to my own. The problem just might be your "NV" drivers. I am running an NVIDEA GE FORCE video card as many of you are and my system was crashing in just about every other game, just as you describe here. However, my problem is now fixed and I no longer crash... ever. Also, my PC runs much quieter, and also much cooler. For those of you running an NVIDEA/GE FORCE card... try this. My game was crashing for weeks. While researching, I found this link. I tried it, and it worked like magic. The bottom line is that NVIDEA created a new toy called SHIELD and they want all their customers to buy this shield. So... all their driver updates now include an executable where the updated driver looks for SHIELD. So, when you update your driver, your new driver automatically looks for SHIELD, and it does this several thousand times per minute. It is a resource hog and it drives up your speed and heat and memory a great deal. The result... another crash. Just disable this file and the crashing problem goes away. At least it did with my unit. Here is the link to explain the process:

This service was included for the NEW Nvidia Shield Handheld Devices to work in unison with PC. Also this service checks for internet connection every 0.2 of a second as well as checking for SHIELD devices itself. If not necessary, this service should be disabled in Services

I disabled the service yesterday after Dappy's post.
Crashed only once after that.

You are having the same Issue. A Driver Error is causing the game to hang and run out of memory. Try uninstalling your Drivers and installing them again.

Have you tried Uninstalling and Reinstalling your Video Card Drivers?

I'll take a look at the Auto-Download Issue. There's another Post about that one, I'll reply to it there.
