'A contemporary (1944–45) Canadian Army survey questioned 161 army officers, who had recently left combat, about the effectiveness of 31 different infantry weapons, in that survey the PIAT was ranked the number one most “outstandlingly effective” weapon, followed by the Bren gun in second place'

Piats are terrible man. I had like 10 of them in multiple engineer squads and only ONE managed to hit a panzer 4 that moved just a inchwards back after they fired.
Yet somehow, they sometimes find their luck hitting obers and even instagibbing them in the weirdest of times.
1/10 - Would never replace for a bren ever again.

Its like trying to buff a sword to keep up with machine guns. Piats were terrible awful weapons. You're lucky they are as good as they are now for what they cost. They aren't for assaulting but defending.
its a video game

Why make one player micro and the other not have to micro cuz his units are simply better and dont require the same amount of micro?
People used to said this about MG42's, once upon a time.
Balance is only relevant at the skill ceiling.

if this is your logic you should have to attack ground shreks
Because there is no skill about it, its more of an unfair handicap, because other factions don't have to use attack ground.
You dont understand guys. I mean it should be better than shreck when used correctly but worse than shreck when not microed. That way its fair and also unique. Units performing too good when idle is exactly why we have the ISG crap all aroung us so you should understand now.

but that's not fair a shrek requires no micro just click on your target, making a player using attack ground to use a list offers no skill at all just a handicap and unnecessary micro.

It's really not that bad, I'd take a PIAT over a bazooka any day. The problem is there is no reason to get one over a Bren, ever.

Whatever you do, don't bring in reasoned thinking or actual opinions of soldiers into this argument. That sort of thing isn't acceptable here.
