Also, while we're on the topic of the 222, Relic needs to scale down the model of the 222, right now it's massive.

UKF snipers are fine. It is the issue of 222/kubel dealing too little damage, not of the sniper abling to crit light armor's engine.

Oh wait so maybe multiple 222s should do the trick I guess?

indeed kubel and UKF snipers shoot out is UFK sniper wins the fight, both 222 and Kubel did too little damage to infantry and too bad accuracy when moving so they can't chase the snipers really

I think british sniper critical shot ability needs to be looked at.
right now 222 and Kubel are supposed to be the light vehicles that can detect and hunt down carelessly placed snipers.

But the problem is, most of the time the sniper can put a critical shot on them, damaged their engines and still have enough time to retreat and survive;
While the 222/Kubel are just sitting ducks wating to get wasted by Vicker/IS/6 Pound whatever.

With 2 snipers you dont even need AT, crit shot it, and kite snipe it to death.
Countering your own counter isn't supposed to happen in this game.

Crit shot on 222/Kubel should only be stuff like Jam Turret etc, NOT engine damage, rendering them useless as a counter.
or lazy solution (relic's favourite) - Further buff their accuracy against sniper, since 222 isn't great at killing inf already (Accuracy is shit), and Kubel can't do anything while on the move

AND YES, 222 is a counter option according to Relic, since they buffed 50% extra accuracy vs Sniper


Give Infantry sections AT nade, and make the Brit sniper reload time similar to Ost sniper, then remove the critical shot from the Brit sniper

Would you be happy with that?!!

His request has nothing to do with this nonsense you wrote.
I said it a thousand times before, no sniper in this game (axis or not axis) should be able to softcounter / block / damage his verry counter.

How can you ask such a thing? It's outrageous! Because it's reasonable.

Flame/AI tanks vs AT infantry/ATGs-what counters what?

Turretless TDs vs tanks with speed boosts-what counters what?

HMGs vs infantry with long range nades-what counters what?

AP sniper vs 222-what counters what?

OP thinks its RPS spamcraft balance.
Its not, its deeper then that.
CoH2 balance and chain of counters have a lot of soft spots where two units counter each other, depending on the situation, map, positioning.

Also, 222 will be on the AP sniper much faster then the AP sniper can use the ability.
Both 222 and kubel also have amazing vet1 which allows them go right for the sniper.

I don't expect someone like you, who doesn't play the game, to understand that, so its more of a general response.

keep in mind that neither the tommies nor the sappers have any vehicle snare, and the PIAT can't hit moving target.

it's a different type of situation requiring different type of strategy.

Instead of trying to dodge infantry squad with at nade, you're trying to rush down an AT sniper.

The brit sniper (and every other sniper) is the hardcounter to infantry and support weapons by design.

Add to that the crit vs vehicle's and the cheap pak40 clone in the same tier and you end up with a sniper that becomes uncounterable by vehicle play aswell.

Leaving only the ost sniper as a counter (and OkW in the dust).
Which is problematic, to say the least.

it's not really :\

222 is basically for M3s and sight. it will do damage to infantry, given enough time, but it takes a while.
