P-47 Rocket Strike vs Stuka Close Air Support Loiter
Posts: 238
The P-47s only target vehicles and to be honest don't do that much damage. It's more of an area denial ability than anything.
Then you get to Stuka Close Air Support Loiter with is ANTI EVERYTHING. It targets infantry, AT guns, Tanks, you name it and KILLS something in one pass.
How is this "balanced" or fair?
The P-47 rocket strike should either target everything also but priority would be vehicles or have the Stuka Close Air Support Loiter only target vehicles.
(The British version rocket and gun strafe of vanguard targets both)
I remember when people cried about the P-47s being too strong so relic nerfed them from 60 to 50 range which is a big deal.
Also, does anyone know the range of the Stuka Close Air Support Loiter? Is it also 50 or is it 60?

P47 and stuka Skillstrafes are just lazy non micro abilities, at least Close air support anti tank strafe requires a bit more thinking about direction of the strafe. P47 and stuka such noob abilities.
Would be nice if they changed all skillstrafes into just one strafe like in close air support doctrine but people want to be able to win tank battle with one click

Maybe you are to much of an allied lover
He is rank 32 as Axis for 2v2 so I doubt it
1st thing first, CAS does not loiter but I assume you mean the other more expensive stuka AT strafe

You are thinking of the close air support commander, some other wehrmacht commanders have an ability called Stuka Close Air Support and its similar to the p47s USF airbourne have except it targets everything

Typhoon loiter is better than both of them, why don't you qq about it instead of the stuka loiter?

I think P-47 just needs to clump its rockets together. It's weird when the strategy to getting hit with p-47 is to do literally nothing because rockets will pass to your tank's sides.
THIS, exactly. I have had games where players didnt move there panzers at all, just sat there and the rockets would MISS bc the rocket would land on the sides of the tank and not hit it directly. If the rockets were close to each other it would fix that issue. The rockets only seem to hit heavy tanks due to their large model size.

P47 Spawns 4 planes
2 planes fire rockets as they are now
but 2 more planes come
1 of these 2 drops clusterbombs
the other is just an MG strafing run

This is how I think this should be fixed:
