What's weird is unlike USF, OKW isn't a faction with 1 mainline infantry and nothing else, but people still want to play them as USF.


+1. Volks are very good for how cheap they are, idk why people insist they must perform at rifle/gren level.

For AI OKW have 2 other types of non-doc infantry. USF got rifles and REs, that's it.

Despite being 5 mp cheaper they do not perform at all like grens or conscripts. poor vet and virtually no special abilities like fausts or at nades.

Panzerwerfer is not translateable, wouldnt make sense to have a "tank thrower". Just like you cant translate stuka's

Directly translated it's "tank thrower" which is bullshit.
It's odd, yes but I'd translate it with "armoured thrower".

Then Rifle company flamers should get removed too. This probably won't happen.


Flammerwerfer 35: Sturmpioneers are now able to equip themselves with a Flammerwerfer 25 Flamethrower.

This is just weird. Why flamethrower on Strumpios?

USF Rifle Company already grants Riflemen to have flamethrowers.
If Volks get flamethrower, they won't be able to upgrade Panzerschreck.

Sturms is busy upgrading mine detector kit.
And making another squad of Strums sounds like a over-investment.

What do you guys think?


Volks should have gotten it like with Rifle Company.

Why?:

Imo the problem is that Sturms are expensive, expensive to reinforce and have a very high population cost.
(9 okwokw, double compared to others: 4 usfusf, 5 sovietssoviets, 5 ostheerostheer) = not many Sturmpionner squads.

It's best to pick up abandoned flamers with Volksgrenadiers.

If you upgrade Sturms with flamethrower, that will be a too big dps loss.

It't will depend on Recoup Losses ability, can it make this viable.
I can't see this happening on the long run.

p.s.: I wonder, will the flamethrower upgrade disable the mine detector upgrade? Either way its terrible.

Flamethrower on sturms is absolutely useless, its impossible to build more than 2 of them, they bleed tons of manpower, and, most importantly, they need to be upgraded with sweepers.

Give it to volks ffs.

There is no need for a flamer upgrade for OKW, just give Volks MP40s or STG44s via upgrades.

Its amusing people think that flamer could ever be put on volks.

1 - It would be pretty OP
2 - They only do that kinda game breaking shit for allies (e.g Croc/KV8 while flamers are OP, and then they bring out the flame Hetzer AFTER the fix where the allies were able to screw axis W/L ratios with it, Centaur vastly outperforming its german AA counterpart that has the same fuel cost... and so on.....) get with the times!

the damage should be highest of any handheld flamethrower then so when engaged( as most of the time they will be repairing and mine detecting or building0 they should be heavily threatning
