I´m not too hyped about the Flammpanzer 38t. With the pathing all turretless vehicles in the game have, this thing is going to be a disaster to micro.

I'm assuming the first since CoH2's commander segments have been entirely without completely passive effects. The passives give you upgrades or build options - nothing has been just "Play the exact same way except now your stats are better".

Radio Intercept
Soviet Industry
Thorough Salvage (that one's in this commander!)

There are more when you think of it, for example riflemen sight buff from recon commander.

Flammpanzer 38 'Hetzer': The Flammpanzer 28 is a Jagdpanzer 28 modified with a Keobe flamethrower in place of the main gun.

No main gun? :loco::loco::loco:
I think that 'd be like KV- 8 with option of switching function.

Radio Intercept

I'd argue that Radio Intercept actually can change your gameplay pretty significant despite being completely passive with the warnings it gives toward enemy strategic choices, not something like, say, passive Zeal. Soviet Industry as well (...which is why no one likes it because you are no longer allowed to take model losses at CP 3 because fuck you apparently). Thorough Salvage actually is "Totally same but better", but even that requires a bit of active effort to smash up vehicles and then salvage them (possibly requiring repositioning so the enemy doesn't deny them to you) which can affect your strategic munition expenditures unlike Recoup Losses being passive which would quite definitely be "So you basically just don't lose as much manpower from combat, spam MP harder".

Nonetheless, good responses. I'd just be sure Recoup Losses being passive would be a definite new bar in lowness in gameplay provided by commander segments.

The difference is, that the KV-8 got the coaxial machine gun replaced. The Flammhetzer has it´s maingun replaced. Not much relic can do about it

Yes I know, but I would rather a normal hetzer or trade for a goliath :thumb:

first question

the first skill salvage now yeild mu does it mean it will give both mu and fu or just give mu?

2nd Flammpanzer 38t is a non-turret Flame tank, does it have its TD counter part ability? because non turret Flametank is just a slower Flame wasp with more armor and health which is quite useless in late game....

Flamer should be volks upgrade.

I am also curious about hetzer vet bonuses, they better be worthwhile.

I dont see a reason to ever put a flamer on sturmpios....
Im assuming hetzer flamer will have good range to make up for its terrible mobility and no turret?

I thought I might return to OKW with this commander but no main gun on Hetzer is a gut punch. Those things were so much fun and cool to use in COH with PE. I already have flame thrower sturms now and Volks with great incendiary nades...why would i want to spend precious fuel on a flame only hetzer. Much better to make it the low profile, ambush favoring, decent against infantry unit that it was in COH 1. :hansRAGE:
