What's your budget?
Only COH2?
No other tasks?
Do you want to stream in future?
Do you like multi tasking?
Do you keep using any current components?
And which screen resolution even? Highest quality without lags in 4v4 on 4k - don't even bother thinking about it :D

Only COH2? Im mainly strategist player so i think it will be enaught if it will run coh2 on best and some other new games , also i want new CPU with new components , simply something that is best right now , but duesnt cost a ship + jaguar :D
No other tasks? what do you mean other tasks? Maybe only programming , normal windows usage (workd excep ppt ...), good movie watching , it will be mainly gaming PC , no 3D programing or something like that
Do you want to stream in future? Maybe
Do you like multi tasking? what you mean in world mutit tasking ?
Do you keep using any current components? That one i have now its notebook :foreveralone:
And which screen resolution even? Highest quality without lags in 4v4 on 4k - don't even bother thinking about it :D (im 1 va 1 player , having best quality there without lags will be enaught)

So, which budget area are we talking about?
Very decent Skylake system would be around ~1300-1500€, Haswell for ~1000.

Of course you can get a Skylake system for a similar amount, but i would certainly stay away from these low end Skylake builds - new isn't always better.

Quite simply: i can't recommend anyone to build a gaming PC from scratch for 500€. You gonna have to make too many cutbacks, and basically rebuild nearly everything pretty soon.
And for a game like COH2 you won't get any components that can run it decently.

What you can do:
Plan A: look for used Haswell Xeon / i7 PCs - they're around your budget, but decent ones are also rare for now. Preferably something with a GPU like 770, 780, or in best case 970 (or AMD equivalent).

Plan B: build one from scratch, but then you kinda have to add 150-200€ at least.

The most "budget" PC you can build for coh2 is something with an i5 or better and at the very least a GPU like a GTX 770. This game absolutely wrecks mid range gaming PCs (thank Relic for that), you will need something on the cheap fringe of high end. Expect to spend near $1000 USD.

Where do you live?
Here in Luxembourg i would recommend for around 500€;
i5 4460 4x 3.20GHz
380, 280x or a 960, depends on your choice
ASRock H97 Anniversary Intel H97 So.1150
some curial ballistix sport ram 8GB
+ some budget cpu cooler
powersupply, hdd, case is your choice

but you have too mention that you there is no ssd in a 500 budget

It is a fallacy that you need to spend 1k for a good machine. Your budget is doable with used equipment.

I just snagged an r9 290 for $200 shipped on ebay.

An i5 4570 can be had for around $150.

A decent mobo for $60

8 gb ram $40

750w PSU $40

That is $490 for all of the components you will need short of a HDD or SSD, for a machine that will be more than capable of running coh2 well.

Then you can get yourself as nice or as simple of a case as you want.

Remember to get at least 8gb of ram and 4gb of vram if you want to use high settings and resolution because COH2 takes up a lot of memory.

I use a 2gb GTX760 and a quad i5 3.2 cpu, I play COH2 on medium graphics, highest textures, no anti aliasing, 1080p and the game runs reasonably smooth(except when there's smoke), although I get stuttering after a few games which is fixed by restarting.

If by good performance you mean 60fps on medium settings, it will take over $500 most likely. Maybe you can pull it off with some bargain deals on ebay, but buying stuff at face value on new egg and its not going to happen. Best case scenario:

$70 mobo
$40-50 PSU
$50 case
$50-70 RAM
$200 GPU
$170 CPU
$50 HDD
$15 CD drive

$645-675 +tax +S&H

My $600 rig got owned by fire bombs, large maps, huge unit count, etc....was solved with a nicer GPU (and still struggles while broadcasting).

edit: that's almost 600 euros

What best PC without rebuilding much of it i can have now for 500 Euros ? (for coh2)

Hi Hector

Been selecting and assembling my own PCs for 23 years now, these days with a much more intentionally restrictive budget. Long gone are the days when I was prepared to spend $1k on RAM or $1.5k on just SLI GPUs.

I'm in the process of putting together a new PC right now specifically for COH2. I can't see me getting away with spending less than AUD $1.2k, and that's without factoring in a new GPU circa AUD$500. And in that, I am saving considerably by recycling some items.

So unless your PC is running COH2 like an absolute dog, I'd save some more and wait so as to upgrade to something which will closer meet performance expectation.

Along with others here who presumably know their stuff, I don't think 500 euro (AUD$740) is a realistic budget for a PC build for COH2 if you expect maximum performance, particularly graphics, even if you can salvage your HDD, PSU, case and peripherals keyboard, screen and mouse so you don't need to supply those items.

I'm retaining my PSU a Corsair HX (Seasonic rebadge), but because I'm going Skylake, I'll need new DDR4 memory as well. In terms of significant additional expenditure, that's moot in any case, as I currently only have 8GB and want to go 16GB, so I'd have to spend on memory anyway and DDR4 is hardly dearer than DDR3. All I'm buying is mobo, CPU, case, cooler, memory, SSD. Existing PSU, graphics (for now) HDDs, BD-RW & PWM case fans still with life in them will be retained along with screen, keyboard, mouse and UPS. OS install is cheapskate too, with cheap digital DL NEW Win 7 Pro licence for clean install => auto Win 10 Pro upgrade.

Of course, your money, your expectations to be met. GL.

some additions

Processor:
Get an Intel Xeon (server processor) or an i5 I wouldnt recommend an i7 for gaming (way too expensive but your call)
Graphics:
Nvidia GTX 960 or 970
RAM:
Would recommend 16gb ddr3
Hard drive
get a small ssd with like 256gb or 128gb for your system and some favorite games and a 1TB for all the other stuff. Definitely buy a SSD you wont regret it - trust me

If you go low-end make sure you get AMD gpu. 270x is perfectly capable with coh2. nVidia is good only if you get 970, 980, 980ti and that's out of your budget.

I would recommend saving more. It's true you can build a pc at a console price point, but the high-end experience is worth more than the extra $$ if you're using it every day.
