wow never knew 250s were actual mercedes , that explains the G class look Kappa.

Surprisingly well preserved, look on the tire...
Water is quite as a preservative, because it limits the amount of oxygen that reaches the object. A lot of the degradable materials stuff that archaeologists turn up were found in water.

Good find, I love how they never bothered to recover that stuff. Really nice to see what an original non restored one looks like in a colour photo.

Good find, I love how they never bothered to recover that stuff.
It's because of the drought this year and water levels drop.
Today they recovered from the Pilica river also a Sd.Kfz 7, who know maybe tomorrow they will also have some luck.
