I'm kinda curious as to what increase in DPS/Damage is with the extra Squad member if someone has crunched the numbers. Right now it kind of feels like you are better off saving the fuel for a Centaur rush and then getting the Bolster Squads afterwards.

I've been trying purchasing this really early on so my new squads have 5 men but I haven't noticed much benefit considering how much it slows down my teching.
And then I get a 222 in my face with my pants down and I lose the map.

Nope.
It only good for sapper spam builds or in super late game if you managed to keep your 2 infantry sections alive.

Ostheer also should got it after unlock BP3, shouldn't it? Only applies on pios and grenadieres

They shouldn't they have best late game basic infantry already

An addtional member per sqaud is of course really usefull. I go always early for the tech like. mg, +size tech, is, is.

But 5-mans section with double MG42/BREN are worse than 4 man mg squad? Are you serious? Even sappers are better than grenadieres. You should play more because you knowledge is on low level

Using this a bit more, I can't decide if it's actually changing the tide of fights or not. I'm winning fights, but is it because I'm in cover and doing mad deepz or is it because the extra guy makes the difference? Hard to tell.

currently axis have one of the worst units. 5th member would be nice.

Don't grenadiers still have good armour? Or did that get nerfed sometime in the last two years and I missed it?

amazing idea, maybe we can see some more tier 3 play from ostheer , u'd have to unlock it from the building itself though .

extra squad member is worth it. its a lower chance of axis players wiping ur squards. and allows u to stay in engagements for abit longer
1. Relic bans, not me. 2. It stands in the rules: If you are banned more often, the duration increase and can lead in the end to permaban 3. The Case is bigger as you guys think. So pls step 1 step away pls. 4. I am not a player in the 4vs4 cup, because of RL work.

In case of IS you have to take into consideration that all their weapons are useless out of cover so they need maps that give it and micro while grens can be a-moved to victory on any map. So in my opinion grens win big time just for being consistent and the ability to fight flamers (in cover its just a death sentence) itself.
On the other hand I have nothing to defend sappers, its ridiculous how one one side building unit is best long range unit in game cost wise and on the other how brits have to cheese to win because they mainline infantry is so bad...

Whenever I face USF as OKW, it feels like I have been strapped down into a mental hospital wheelchair, with legs that can't reach the floor to move myself forward and a nurse is trying to move the wheelchair backwards whilst I have to race a formula one car for a best of three laps.

Guess who will won? Also, grens are not allowed to build any piece of green cover so what we are talking about

the cover bonus is not that big unless you're using the bren, but even then the bren is inferior to the lmg42 despite them costing the same. Yes, double bren gun will win, and it's also extremely expensive.
