jackson? I think it is actually the only unit in the entire game to have 480 hp.

Their heaviest unit is also limited to the bulldozer and the E8, both of which only have 720hp.

720 hp itself is actually "non-standard". everyone else either have 640 hp or 800 hp. The US is the only faction that's stuck at 720. In practice 720hp still means 4 shots kills from a tank, but the 80 hp do make a difference against schreck.

you're right about the jackson. i thought the stug had 480 as well but it has 560hp.

the 720 is also unique but that's two units out of all USF units and the stug also has an odd ball amount of health.

i'm just not really bothered by it

720/160=4.5 or 5 shots needed to kill from any tank or at gun, that isn't a pak43.

easy to say that now, but when the axis do bring out a jagdtiger, elefant, or pak43, the 720 hp is a pretty big weakness.

Actually, heavy AT weapons (pak43, JT, ele, 17lber emplacement) do 320 damage each. 720 HP is the same as 800HP vs. all unsupported AT. The big difference between 720 and 800hp is only when at nades and handheld AT enters the picture.

Would be nice as a commander doc similar to the british engineers when going hammer, and limited to only the rear echelons being able to do it and maybe take more time to it, just ideas.

anything that can give USF tanks a thread of survivablity against axis tank and anti-tank weapons (since most if not all of their guns have high penetration values) is good enough for me tho i would prefer it would be non-doc instead

I'm not here to argue on balance. Just correcting a false statement. Tanks will not kill a 720 hp tank in 4 shots because all tanks (except for the kt) do 160 damage.

Also, consider what Comm_Ash wrote.

USF tanks feel like paper i still think they need some form of durability utility to survive late game axis armor has no problem with that now do they? they still got that get-out-of-jail-for-free card ability called blitz i think

At least give the all tanks crush ability again, rather than just the few.

Do you mean being able to run over more of the environment, or something else?

Why would USF honestly need this buff? They are currently way ahead of both axis factions.

USF tanks don't really on having high armor but rely on other advantages, which at the moment are pretty effective. While USF tanks in my opinion to require higher micro on their tanks than other factions, I find it pretty fun and pretty rewarding.

People. IIRC, it's just the wolverine right now. Sherman used to be able to.

They both have the same crush attributes with them being able to crush anything up to medium, smash the walls of buildings and crush humans. Main difference is the M10 has better speed and mobility which allows it to pull those sharp turns to crush infantry getting out of the way with less time for troops to clear out. Vet 2 Shermans could probably do the same thing due to the mobility boost at vet.

And my opinion on the subject, Shermans don't need a health boost unless it comes with Vet. They're fine as is. And armour boosts wouldn't be worthwhile as any base AT would still penetrate the armour. It'd just make the match-up between the PIV and Sherman onesided even though the PIV is the one that costs more.
