as you know halftracks got their reinforcement abilities removed with anti infantry upgrades last patch(flamer ht,quad etc)
i had the lend lease halftrack that comes with guards and it doesnt lose the reinforcement ability with upgrade
edit: didnt write it clearly

no sorry for not being clear enough. it doesnt lose the reinforcement ability with quad upgrade. so it keeps the reinforcement ability while having a quad mount

That'd be because there are 2 M5's, with identical stats. m5_halftrack_mp is the standard one you can build, while m5_halftrack_assault_mp is the one Guards come in. Seems Relic forgot about the separate but identical Guard's version and didn't change it.
That's not new though, the assault_grenadiers_leader_mp still has 1.5 armour, assault_grenadiers_mp still have no armour and normal target size, and the grenadier_squad_mg42lmg_mp still has old Veterancy (like light mortar rifle nade).
Relic changes normal things but forgets about old niche things that nobody uses.

What is the difference between the assault grenadiers there? And the grenadier_squad_mg42lmg_mp is the call in Gren in the 250 HT, right?

Assault Grenadiers used to have 1.5 armour, and when they did the infantry changes armour was converted to received accuracy (and later target size, same effect but less engine calculations), but not for Assault Grenadiers. They were left with no armour and no received accuracy (or reduced target size), so they were effectively nerfed by losing 33% of their durability. Except for the Assault Grenadier Leader, who Relic forgot about and thus he still has 1.5 Armour.
And yes those Grenadiers are the ones that come in the 250 Half-Track. Aside from cosmetic differences in the UI, they still have the +25% range on Rifle Grenades at Vet 2, which was removed from regular Grenadier.
