For the cost, I would rather give my troops 4 BARS. 240mm is the biggest waste of garbage for arty strike in my opinion. Yeh you get lucky once in a while, but at least with 4 bars you're guaranteed to do good dmg probably.
Also I'm pretty sure you need line of sight for it to KEEP firing if I'm not mistaken??? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's the case. Which usually just means you TK your own guys.

sort of.
i really want mortars to get more accurate the longer a barrage fires (not the autofire, just the barrages) and the same thing could apply to artillery globals to make them more interesting. 240mm is pretty shit though.

it is a very unworthy and weird offmap.
a big circle of russian roulette. should not work like that.
although i do gamble sometime and charge through the effect zone and it is quiet fun. probably because I haven't got gibbed yet.

I love this arty... It's honestly the most reliable "boom" arty that USF has....(phoshorus is the most reliable but it's technically not arty)It decimates Pak walls, it decimates OKW med truck concentrations... I've caused so many game winning catastrophes with this arty.
But you can't just use it willy nilly or carelessly...like on a roving blob for example..you'll never hit it...
But on the topic of sym vs price....if price had just called the 240 on the Pak wall when charging symbis tiger he would've likely won the game easily...And he could've done so multiple times...Instead he calls it on his own troops, and on a random splat of dirt without having armor follow up.
Having been on the opposite end of this arty,and having done it to my opponents many times during my M10 spam phase,It's quite literally impossible to micro paks with this arty flying around, (especially with its AOE),and micro a tiger vs an M10 swarm. It's quite possibly the best tank assault support arty in the game. It's also great area denial.
