whats the point of being weak to infantry if the enemy faction DOESNT HAVE powerful infantry at handhelds?



Both the Elefant and Jadgtiger have really weak rear armor. The Jadgtiger also has a stun mechanic.

It might be a shocker for you, but both JT and ele have enough range to never extend themselves so much for anything to ever threat the rear armor and are durable enough for actual AT infantry to kill whatever will jump on them quickly.

As counters in team games does any body know if the 17-pounder can counter it?


Just to make UKF more laughable, Relic made 17 pounder to be outranged by jagdtiger, making one of tanks it supposed to counter hardcounter 17 pounder instead. I dont know range of 17 pounder, for me it seems like something between 60 and 70, but, even if 17 pounder has 80 range similar to pak43, jagdtiger still have 5 more with 85 range.

And if things turn out as i see them, and 17 pounder range really lesser than 70, then even elefant with 70 range can outrange it.

Good joke, isn't it?

It's almost as if the speed of them is abysmal and not every map is an open field were they can take advantage of the long range. Like there is literally almost no maps were the 85 range on the Jadgtiger matters in 1v1 or 2v2. You normally will always operate between 60-70 range normally.

They also move incredibly slow (especially the Jadgtiger), so uh, yes Infantry can scare them away and just because 1 Captain can't solo a Jadgtiger to death doesn't mean the Jadg is OP.

High armor and high healt versus not really much penatration and damdge. But anyway the elephant en jagdTiger are also much much more expensive than at infantry.

And these things called ZiS guns, don't forget those. A group of three will either kill it or force it to hide in it's base. Same for the JT.

You can easily win a slugfest against these things.

Step 1. Get machine guns.
Step 2. Get infantry.
Step 3. Kill supporting infantry.
Step 4. Get AT guns.
Step 5. Shove Axis player off star.
Step 6. Swarm with 2 or 3 mediums.
Step 7. Win game.

That's how you deal with a supported one. These things are supposed to be the linchpin of an AT defense. If it is properly supported, then the Axis player SHOULD WIN, because he has outplayed you, kept his units alive, and has a cohesive defense around the stars that he has asserted dominance over. IT IS THEIR ENTIRE PURPOSE IN THE GAME TO SHUT DOWN MASSED ARMOR PLAY BY THE OTHER TEAM. Nerf their armor, and the other team can just bumrush it with tanks, trade 1 for 1, and the unit is utterly useless.

One that's not supported is even easier to kill.

Step 1. Swarm with 2 or 3 mediums.

Before WFA released I managed to kill a JT with 3 Guards & 3 Cons with a combination of Mark Target, AT Nade spam & PTRS. Took a long time and it almost escaped :O

Truly spoken like someone who never used those vehicles. One wrong move and they get caught. Lose the support one time and they are sitting ducks. Even if you keep them in save distance they can still be swarmed by multiple tanks. With their super slow rate of fire they cant get out enough shots. Throw in the JT being constantly stunned and you have yourself a gamble.

The Elefant has a whopping 10 range more than a Su-85, while being pretty much half as mobile. i3f the enemy pursues he can catch those vehicles pretty easily.

Elefants range is 70
Elefants Armor is 400
Elefants HP is 1040
Elefants Damage is 320

JagdTigers is 85
JagdTigers Armor is 550
JagdTigers HP is 1280
JagdTiger Damage is 320


Both tanks have huge range so flanking them like stugs is impossible and if you ever think of diving then get ready to lose everything to at guns, panzershreacks and yes you guessed it the elefant/jagdtiger

the only way you can flank BOTH vehicles is if the Axis player forgets it or leaves it alone should he support it with team weapons or AT you cant in any way counter it


AT handhelds arent really good either so using infantry to deal with them is a flatout failure,and if you expect the allied player to use infantry to flank the Jagdtiger or the elefant you STILL fail to counter them causenot only its impossible to flank them with infantry but caise they have TOO MUCH HP

they have too high armor and HP and a gun AND range

HOW canyou FLANK such a tank with infantry and make sure you damage it?


both vehicles need a rework or their counteres buffed or else its GG for allies
