USF Base Reorganization Concept

I was bored last night and decided to throw together a concept for a new USF base, designed along the lines of the much better British Forces base. In the end, I came up with this:




Click images for full size. Ignore missing textures, it's a bug. Ignore everything not on the dirt, other doodles.

Relic please redesign USF's base to be less cluttered!

Current US base is stupidly round, it's like a perfect circle. This one is much better.

They are, in my mind the map would be on the other side of the racks, while the truck is on the side facing the edge.

Although I like the concept, having the USF base facing the enemy base on every map (i. e. auto rotating it) would be enough.

Retreat point needs to be where the upgrades are and both have to be faced towards the center of the map.

This base is really terrible now i make a test and in 10 times , 7 times allied base got destroyed / almost destroyed after firing 2 railway arty on it

Yeah, that's so common in happens in basically every USF game...

At least they can rebuild it for free.


I think all factions should be able to rebuild their base structures if they build em in hq sector (but if okw truck is placed out of base sector it die once and for all , to make it balanced)

gj much better...wonder how they came with the caravan round setup. Ok its the US but not in the cowboys era, not only it takes the immersion away its dysfunctional too.

Part of what I had in mind was room for you to park the ambulance right outside the retreat point, hence the wide open center. Riflemen retreat to the Truck, heal up with the Ambulance parked nearby, and can arm up on the way back out.

As for the actual Ambulance, I would have preferred if it was a Jeep driven by Medics, like in Band of Brothers. Coincidentally, the episode that featured the Medic Jeep was during the Battle of the Bulge.

Yes, very nice, as custom games annihilation player I like.
Makes killing they base much ez than driving all 'round like headless chicken.

Looks awesome! If it is true that we are getting thompsons, then maybe they are thinking about a redesign already.
