What tank do you guys usually go with?
I myself prefer the Churchill.
It's robust, can take multiple hits and is still reasonably powerfull. It's maybe a little slow but that I can easily forgive.
The comet is not bad but to me at the moment doesn't feel as powerfull as a heavy tank should feel.
Just my cup of tea though.
Thoughts on this?

at the moment theres no reason not to take the churchill, its a complete monster that can easily 2v1 panzer 4s and just absorb anything germans throw at it
once the nerfs start rolling out the comet might look good again, but right now just go with churchills and the superior crocs/avres

Churchill any day. I don't know, Comets feel a bit meh to me. They don't really excel at AI or AT really. They're good against heavy Ost T3 play but that about it. They struggle in a 1v1 scenario against Panthers. Plus going Anvil nets you awesome Heavy Engineers. Give those babies Brens and they demolish vet infantry in cover (which is good, because IS suck late game against them so pls dont nerf them). Have a Firefly in tow and they synergise really well together.

As said above, there is no way you would choose Comet over Churchill, and it's going to be worse with the futur patchs( less HP on Comet, delayed Hammer and anvil by increased cost).
Churchill , even with 1440 HP will still be pretty Op compared to the 740 HP comet with nerf to scatter. Couple churchill with usefull ability like Airburst shells and combat royal engi. No choices for us

I also prefer the Churchill as I feel it synergies best with the overall Brits design and units.
1. Less Fuel
2. Perfect shield for Fireflies
3. AI isn't far behind Comet's
4. Airburst Shells makes up for the crappy scatter on 25 Pounders
5. Heavy Engineers help reduce MP Bleed late game
6. Perfect Command Vehicle
Don't get me wrong, I like the Comet but it feels a tad too squishy against Axis AT and with the pending nerfs probably overpriced for it performance. Freaking love the White Phos. shells at Vet 1 though.

I like much more comet now because i go flame churchill every game with rare commanders. It sinenergise so much. But churchill + churchill crocodile ? No thx.
But if you dont have crocie , go anvil of course.
Also if you dont know what crocie does its churchill combined with universal carier flametrhower , all others thinks are copied from churchill normal.

Churchill is much less risky choice, because it has more armor and 2 times more hp, and its cheaper. And engineers repair it as fast as they would repair Comet because they also get 2 times faster repair speed with anvil unlock.

Command AVRE is the best UK tank currently. Crazy aura + Anvil RE blob = Axis tears.

I would recomend churchil if you want more armor and comet or more anti tank option.
