It gives 20% bonus damage resistance to units in its area of effect. Pretty worth the 125 fuel if used correctly because its cannon is still decent against infantry. The damage resistance comes in really handy especially in the current soviet su76 spam you see so often. Having an extra tank to counter that pesky M5 Halftrack is not half bad either.

Just remember that the cannon is roughly equivelent to a light tank's gun and is absolutely useless against anything larger than an SU-76 or Stuart. Probably the only Medium Tank that will lose a slug-fest to an M10. Just don't even try.

How do you lose an M10 to a normal PIV when you have extra range and better mobility? Hits to kill are the same for both while having practically equal RoF.

Please, stop spreading bs.

1-Grenades, mortar shells, Katyusha rockets, ISG and pack howie (auto attack) do 80dmg. Assault nades do 40. "All" infantry models have 80hp. Look, you survive a direct hit as you'll be in heavy cover!

2-Infantry damage ranges from 2 (MG34-MP40 crew) to 27 (PTRS). Most weapons ranges from 10 to 16. SMG obviously have higher RoF but lesser damage. There's a reason the 3% health bulletins were OP cause you survived an extra shot. You are gaining 20hp letting you survive 2 against most rifles/carbines. Were have you been when it is discussed that the 2hp makes the OH sniper "OP".

3-Against tanks, it's effectively letting you survive an extra shot (160dmg source)
320HP (HT): 2 to 3
400HP (Puma): 3 to 4
640HP (Mediums): 4 to 5
800HP (Panther): 5 to 7
960HP (Vet2 PV): 6 to 8
1080 (Tiger): 7 to 9
1280 (Ele/KT): 8 to 10


To OP, you are basically obtaining an Ostwind with support capabilities. Good AI but "Stug-E" levels of AT. So you'll rely on your partner or pak line as your main AT till you have enough fuel to sustain teching and getting other tanks.

Elchino summed it up pretty well. They can also be used as a crutch call-in if you're struggling and behind in tech and need to counter a T70/M5 with a call in (though the Mobile Defense Puma is better in that regard)

Actually, on infantry the bonus is 20% less received accuracy, not less damage; so its really good at supporting infantry too, against enemy infantry.
