Would like some feedback on how I should've countered those infantry masses.

Gonna just give you my thoughts as I watch :snfPeter:

  • Veto Langres as USF
    • Dont go Lieutenant first. Not saying dont go lieutenant at all,but get him after your captain.
    • a stuart wouldve just given you..."more" if that makes sense. Lieutenant is just lacking this patch. Especially vs light vehicles.
    • despite this you are dominating...at first...
    • DONT GET A MORTAR HALFTRACK! no! Worst unit you can buy in 1v1 arguably.
    • As you see by how quick your M20 died,thats why Lieutenant is bad
    • dont use AT nades if you cant follow up
    • you went LT>>> captain,but go Captain>>> LT,again
    • USF is much more effective in that order
    • Now,when your opponent gets an Ostwind...
    • Imainge if you had Armor company and M10s. You wouldve countered both vehicles easily.
    • INfantry Company is not a good LT captain commander in 1v1. Dont pick commanders too early unless you have a clear-cut well thought out plan. Which you did not really have.
    • LT+CPT+MAJ is TOO much in a 1v1 90% of the time Pick two.
    • buying Moar riflemen with no muni for LMG is badddd.
    • Get 50 cals to cover the AT guns you alreayd have instead
    • And some rear echelons to keep tha shit crewed
    • If youre floaintg late game as USF,or taken alot of losses,never buy more riflemen. Buy a support weapon instead,it will scale for you better. Vet 0 riflemen late game are FODDER at best.
    • moore RE's to crew them
    • 3 AT guns is overkill 99% of the time,even moreso with no support(MGs or vetted rifles) for them
    • your opponent has such a massive MP 1-up over you that you get absoulutely slaughtered despite killing his vet 5 puma and his ostwind.
    • at 39 minutes it was GG :foreveralone:

thanks for the feedback. i admit i didnt really have a concrete strat planned out and was mainly focused on microing my units, and i agree that those late game rifles were only being slaughtered by the ostwind and vet jaegers

What vetoes do you use? I veto Kholodny Ferma Winter, Semoiskiy Winter, and Bystraya Voda (winter maps), then usually Road to Kharkov because it seems like just a couple of mg's can lock it down.
