Axis have ability to pop up smoke which make em too hard to take out. Sometimes due to bad pathfinding axis units like puma is abusing smoke to take out jacksons or su76 or SU85. Saving other units as well.

Smoke and pathfinding just dont work. Vehicles go crazy with pathfinding in that smoke while people abusing smoke in their favor. Should smoke be fixed or removed?

Blitz needs tweaking, but smoke is fine. It's in combination with Blitz that it's too strong.

I think it's fine.

What is your proposed fix to the smoke anyway? It doesn't really break pathfinding, pathfinding breaks when vehicles are close together.

And you can always use attack ground to shoot at smoke and hit the vehicle hiding in it.

You should list the things that you do not find OP about axis. It would save you a lot of time.

Ok let me try and help this thread. First and foremost anyone who has never had a P4, panther, or Tiger run into you line kill something and then smoke out with little to no health, and still get away even if you attack ground will vote no for even a change to vehicle smoke.

Now with that out of the way. Yes, i think smoke dose need a change, but shouldn't be removed from the game. All that is need is a skill check, like the sherman smoke, which is not instance, and needs a click for it to work. The fact that people are all right with get out of jail free cards in Coh2 (for only one side, with the better tanks by the by) that takes no skill, and just say no to even the idea that smoke may need a change, or at lest needs to be added to weaker units like all american tanks is a joke.

+1. With some quick reaction you can take all the tanks out with attack ground so no problemo's to smoke. Yes it can be annoying, but it isn't gamebreaking like the M5 Quad and ML-20

Attack ground is not enough to counter tank smoke. It can miss, tank could change position, out of range etc. Axis player just push button and rolling out of combat, saving his unit. This smoke must be reworked, it must required more micro, then just pressing one button and getting out of combat. It just a "out of jail card".

Sherman smoke requires more micro, then OST.

Smoke should only affect long range weapons (ATG and SUs). You must be able to kill tank in smoke with cons at close range. Right now its ablity breaks the game. It makes tanks invincible to infantry fire even at closest range.

If not for the smoke abuse i would have +15 streak now.
