It's not the same one from the first CoH, which was the Mk IV which had a 57mm on it. This one is the Mk VII which had a 75mm gun better than the 75 on Sherman's.

MKVII also had much more armor then MKIV. More armor then tiger in fact.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Problem is the OQF 75mm was worse against tanks than the OQF 6 Pounder they used to have, since it's firing US ammunition (same as the Sherman) out of a barrel that's slightly shorter. The OQF 75mm was nothing more than an OQF 6 pounder rebored from 57mm to 75mm and with a modified breech to handle the US 75mm ammunition, and since the barrel length was less it's doubtful the round would've any better at anti-tank work than a Sherman since it wouldn't have gone any faster.

It will have a better HE shell though.

EDIT: Just realized you may have been thinking of the 75mm HV gun which never made it into production.

Hahahaha! Now that's a new one! Still... Going to miss the Mine Plow (Would be great on the AVRE with it's small list of abilities) but these new abilities should be great too.

Anyone notice the Smokescreen spewing out of the back of the Churchill? That's certainly different. It's won't do anything to protect the tank itself BUT hides whatever is supporting from behind it. Clever.
