Viability of Luftwaffe Supply in 1v1?

So I like Wehrmacht's Luftwaffe Supply Doctrine on paper. It's a commander that's a bit left of field and it has some neat niche abilities. But I feel that it is more of a 3v3/4v4 commander choice (game modes that I don't like nor enjoy). Anyway I really, really want to find an effective strategy of how to utilise this commander effectively in 1v1, or possibly even 2v2.

I realise that securing resource points when using the supply drop is vital, and that investing heavily in a 'turtle' gameplay style is probably needed. But is Luftwaffe Supply viable in 1v1s where resource points aren't overly contested on maps such as Minsk or Kharkov? Has anyone developed solid strats for its use in 1v1?

The killer isn't the points, the killer is it drains your MP away.

Not really a 1v1 commander. Was good in the past before the medical supply drop was nerfed. You can successfuly use it starting from 2v2 especialy if you have an OKW partner which will realy appreciate your fuel supply drop and make good use of it. Long ago, it was a tactic that allowed a KT build after 15-20 minutes mark from startgame with the help of this commander. But even in such case, after KT nerf it doesn't realy worth it anymore.
After latest 2 patches, if you are ostheer and play next to an OKW partner, the best way to help him is to build the thinghs he has no access to: mg42s, medium tanks, mortars, Tigers. You can't win by inflating his power anymore, but by becoming powerfull yourself, as ostheer.

Medical crates allow you to sustain on field and win engagements you would lose otherwise.

Other then that, its pretty much 2v2+ doctrine.

I used it in 1v1s and indeed it can win you engagements because of the medic crates. But nothing more. Probably a better thing to choose is an actual HT Kappa

You know you can't use them while in combat anymore, do you?

You know they give you a stacking buff to accuracy and received accuracy just like FHQ?
At least know the faction you're warrioring for so zealously.

I can't speak to 1v1s but luft supply is totally viable in 2v2 and above. That bonus is cheap and it allows Grens to beat rifles in early engagements. People don't use it because CAS does everything it can do but better and because they got used to the broken midcombat healing it used to do.

Which doesnt mean theyll win, unless they pick them up before fighting starts.

Leaving cover and moving around rifle equipped men to pick up crates in a fight already means theyll be taking extra hits and damage, while missing more until they pick it up.

Its good for before and after fights, not during.

the crate bonuses dont stack.

if you pick up 1 crate..it gives 0.87 recived accuracy and 1.15x accuracy increase. However this bonus will not stack if you pick up all the three crates.

The best thing to do drop them to ur defensive postion and use them 1 at a time.

Do you have a source for this? It has been stated repeatedly over time that the bonuses stack.

And who makes you use the crates DURING the engagement?
The buff last quite long, you can easily pick it before you go in engagement.

Missing the point & acting like an idiot with that spoiler. Impressive.

Explanation for dummies: The idea I was expressing is WHY luftwaffe doctrine isn't that effective anymore. Because before you could use it during combat which was more useful, while now, you can't. Should I draw it for you?

I believe you're missing the point here.

Its STILL effective in combat as you're getting potent buff.
Its HEALING doesn't work in combat, because it was broken OP.

Buff works in combat, therefore you can use it during combat, just apply it BEFORE combat to not lose cover advantage as it lasts long.

I don't know how can I explain it in any simpler way.
Need a singing telegram to get it?

Buff works in combat, healing doesn't. When they nurfed the heal in combat, people stopped using that commander. Iv had that commander active in my roster since I bought it months and months ago. I also think they stopped using it because the fact that the game became company of call ins

I remember healing supplies would give like 100% accuracy to sturms even at long range when stacked.
