Of course people are complaining about sandbags. What's next? Trip wire flares?

because 76% of the playerbase plays them

this game will never be some stupid esport 1v1 game, it should not be balanced for 1v1

Sand bags totally Ok, easily counterable. SU cant build any other defensive positions dont have shooting schwer HQ. Dont have a abilit to play defensively in general. while single mg42 in building is already a stronghold.

Axis Defrensive noob play will be a cancer of this game when teeching to rocket truck will be that long.

Whether something is counterable is besides the point, its about improving gameplay to make it more interesting/competitive/tactical. Sitting behind green cover except to occasionally dodge a grenade is none of those.

What RTS is truly balanced, nay, even feasible to balance, in 3v3s and 4v4s?

"Lol Relic please give perfect balance 4v4s"

Sigh... As far as I'm concerned, sitting on green cover when defending a victory point to try and hold it IS tactical. Nobody in their right mind will find this change acceptable. Just as crappy Ostheer trenches are unacceptable. Hopefully, Relic will revert this change and make unfinished sandbags vulnerable to small arms fire and maybe take longer to build.

Nothing will convince me that Relic took the right course of action.

There are other ways that would not harm 1v1 in any way, meanwhile improving 4v4 a lot.
For example introducing new 4v4 maps that are wider than current ones. That would give more flanking options and make medium armor more viable.

Sandbags should be 320 hp for every faction.

That's 2 pak shots and 3 schrecks.

OKW generally has a hard time dealing with sandbags as ISG sucks/no flamer/sniper/long ranged grenade

in World in Conflict most units are just copies of eachother, and COH 2 has so many different units that you cant always predict that who is going to win due to RNG and different gun stats

Additionally, the game is basically designed to be played only in teams, due to it demanding teams split up their players in roles with the different roles having a pretty clear rock-paper-scissors system.

Sandbags are magical since they protect you and prevent light vehicles from rushing your position

make it base on tech/vet.

at the start of the game, conscript can only build the flimsy sandbag the usf and okw uses. Once the conscript is vetted and/or soviet reach t3/4, they can build the good old soviet tough sandbag.

Arty is much different in WiC on both sides, it could couse huge ballance problem. Ofc I agree that it is much much easier to ballance wic arty than any unit in coh2.
