I highly doubt that it is St George at 3rd poster, he doesn't look like his canonic image and there is no nimbus around his head - and this is mandatory attribute for any saint in orthodox tradition. It's more like image of "bogatyr" - ancient knight/hero of old Russian legends.

P.S. I found this poster with text on it - "The grate battle of Russian bogatyr with German snake/dragon (the are quite similar in Russian mythology)". Also there is poem under the image, but I can't find quality image to read it.

Tachanka - was a horse-drawn machine gun platform, usually a cart or an open wagon with a heavy machine gun installed in the back. Mostly famous for their usage in civil war, were mobility was highly important. It was very popular in revolution and post revolution folklore - songs, posters, literature and etc.

Last week the Som was found in Swedish waters. She collided underwater with the swedish merchant Ingermanland (Ingria) in the morning of may 10th 1916 and sunk with all 18 hands. (2 officers, 16 sailors)
Originally a prototype for the US Plunger class she was sold to the Imperial Russian Navy in 1904 and served in the Russo-Japanese war and WW1.

In 1905

In 2015:
As you can see she is in surprisingly good condition. Not uncommon in certain parts of the Baltics where oxygen levels are close to zero.

(Dispelling some of the early reports of it being a modern sub. See the Ъ and compare.)

Fedorov automatic/assault rifle (avtomat) was designed in 1915, from 1915 to 1924 only 3200 rifles were produced, the vast majority of them were made after 1920. The weapon saw token combat in World War I, but was used more substantially in the Russian Civil War and in the 1939–1940 Soviet-Finnish war.

Vladimir Grigoryevich Fyodorov.

Russian fleet during WWI.

For Russia main naval theatres were Baltic Sea (against Germany) and Black Sea (against Ottoman Empire). At Baltic Sea Russians played a mainly defensive role, at most attacking convoys between Germany and Sweden and laying offensive minefields.

Nikolai Ottovich (von) Essen admiral of Baltic fleet.

Manfred von Richthofen, also known as the red baron, in early 1918. He was the most famous ww1 fighter ace that developed squad tactics and together with Immelmann the two developed tactics that were used during the Luftwaffe and Allied airforces during ww2. Manfred believed and preached upon always having a wingman nearby, attacking from the sun and never getting too greedy for a kill. Irony has it that on the day that he died, April 21st 1918, he didn't attack from the sun, he left his wingman to attack an enemy plane solo and chased an enemy for a longer duration than he would normally have. Even the best of aces make human errors :)

A young Hermann Goring in 1917. Hermann became one of the top scoring ww1 German aces and took over Manfred von Richthofen's squadron after his death in April of 1918. Later in his life he would become the leader of the Luftwaffe and made not too few errors there. Note that he wasn't the fat man we know from the ww2 era videos and pictures. He only got fat after he got shot in the stomach in the 1923 Munich coup. Which resulted in him getting addicted to morphine. This in combination with his sweet tooth resulted in his prominent belly we have all known.
