Stacking mines and democharges

Hello

what do you think about stacking multiple mines or stacking mine with democharges?

I know, that a mine detector would do it, but you dont always have that and if you hit one of them there is a 90%-chance that it will wipe the whole squad (and even more) and make a huge amount of damage even to heavy tanks.

For soviet this tactic is more useful, because they can stack mines with demos, they have cheaper mines and they dont have that much upgrade costs in general.

What do you think about this?

I think that it costs shitload of muni and isn't worth it.

Its definitely NOT worth it on tanks over 4 different mines and its definitely not worth it against infantry if you have some awareness(or 4 normal mines).

It is so strong that I have not seen it once, in my games or on streams.

I've seen it a few times, by good players too. Can definetely work, however, the key is to put the mine behind the demo to preclude a premature explosion. One second the blob is there, the next it isnt. ;)

powerful but not cost effective. 4 mines or just a demo is generally better.

Not cost effective at all. But man is it hilarious when it's set off! :D

Put down tripwire flare (all soviet infantry vet1 abbility), demo on top. Here you go, 10 muni for an autotrigger demo that instawipes all squads + scoutcar/luchs. It also provides vision. #sovietOP

last patch i tried the "super mine" and it killed 2 members of a sturmpio squad... so as leyawn said, i started placing the mine behind the demo in order to catch more units in a larger blast.

What we sometimes use in teamgames is an M20 mine with a democharge on it. Reks pretty much anything.. And doesnt get wasted for infantry obviously if not wanted

I dont think that it is not cost effizient. How many (much more expensive) artillery -and air strike are their which often have hardly any impact against the enemy forces. A stacked mine will always (if not detected) hit the enemy.
I see this "tactic" nearly every second game (2vs2) when I play axis.

It is also very effective (and also cost efficient) against blobbing, because it will blow up an entire blob.

LIES! "Stacking" implies multiple sources of damage are used for this tactic!

Plant 4 mines instead, much more effective. And even if they have mine sweepers, chances are they only buy one and can't sweep the whole map.

Done this a few times in big team games. When it works, it breaks me everytime; helps get all the blob and has caused rage quit.

However, experience show it only really works 50% of the time, and even then only if you're playing someone without sweepers.
