The changes to cover-seeking have been overall pretty nice but I am continuously frustrated by how far away units "stick" to cover from. you can order a unit to stand in the middle of a CP sometimes and they will walk out of the circle to cling to a bush.
Can we please have the range that units auto-seek cover increased to get rid of this annoyance?
Units stepping out of capture circle to seek cover.

+1. Tells unit to go cap...micros elsewhere dodging nades etc. Looks back up...squad chilling by a wreck outside the circle...

I said thousands times this stick to cover bullshit just causing trouble.
- Making capping unit stepping out of the circle
- Making squad like maxim crew hugging together asking for riflenade
- Squadwipe™, Squadwipe™, Squadwipe™, going to cover = asking for Squadwipe™
For the love of God, rewrite the goddamn algorithm or just remove it.

And the worst part of this is that units like the captain, guards, etc, try to seek cover before they shoot, and if that cover is further away from the target they get out of range, so to get in range they step out of cover, which they try to seek again, and so begins a literally endless back and forth. Dance!

maybe there should just be a hotkey to make units "stick" to cover. sure it adds extra micro but man, there are a lot of issues with this system as-is.

Yes. Fully Agree ! This needs to change. I cannot count how many times i have lost a capture because of this.

I have no idea why the mouse cursor snaps to cover from such a great distance... what good does that do? Except helping weak players who can't micro well enough to click on the actual cover. Probably those players who claim coh should be decided by strategy and not apm... lol.
I like the change that units actually stick to cover but not that it snaps the cursor to cover when you don't even click it.
