Its not clear what caused the HMG to "die". Maybe it was a bug which has nothing to do with PTRS.

Good point, stolen HMG is much worse than destroyed HMG. Axis fanboys should love cons PTRS, its saving em trouble.

Irony aside, its really uncommon HMG get destroyed by PTRS, maybe axis fanboys are imagine things becouse I have played 6 games today, spammed cons with PTRS and no axis HMG kills so far.


It is literally impossible for the PTRS to miss the weapon the weapon team is crewing, it's not nearly as uncommon as you think it is.

Its not clear what caused the HMG to "die". Maybe it was a bug which has nothing to do with PTRS.


The MG34 has a size of 20, which the PTRS will hit 100% of the time. 4 cons can kill it in 3 seconds due to the very high DPS of the PTRS.

Because the PTRS cons don't always shoot at the gun, and the suppression was affecting their ROF. The PTRS has a fairly long target acquisition time, but once it gets going the DPS it can put out is very good.

The StuG E cannot actually 1 shot AT guns, as it only has 80 damage.

Clearly that scene was arranged. Four cons squads charging HMG and no support ever seen. Thats clearly a set-up scenery.

The HMG stands behind volk built cover and we know there are ghosting issues.

The ghost cover got destroyed by PTRS fire and HMG was placed in that ghost cover so HMG and the attached models was removed from the world with that cover gone.

Arranged as in an actual in game 2v2 scenario, yes...

You still didn't answer my question as to what you think destroyed the gun + team in an instant.

It was sandbags built by cons, not volk sandbags as I wrote above.

I think that was a bug. New patch produced new bug. Maybe PTRS has nothing to do with it.

I dont know if that is true as you provide no video evidence.

I can speculate PTRS might affect ambient world objects which shift and crush models and HMGs.

You have to keep in mind that the video porygon posted was arranged.

HMG died because the gun way destroyed, normally, in AT guns the crew retreated out of map, but for HMG they just simply die :snfBarton:

You have to keep in mind that the video porygon posted was arranged.


I think the cons PTRS destroyed the gun, causing the squad members to die.

That was an automatch 2v2 scenario, emblematic of what you will encounter in a game.

A simple fix for now would be to make that upgrade only give cons 1 PTRS, then hopefully relic will adjust the target priority in the future.

you can't crush setup teams, they have the highest pathing priority.
