u continue to mislead

lemme refresh wat YOU said

Yes, most Pwerfs operate at exact range or lower than that of mortars because of the fact the Pwerf is only effective at very close range.

But don't you feel it's a tad silly that a artillery HT that fires rockets has to be used at point blank range?

It should either fire more rockets like it originally did so it can be used out farther, or just get better scatter so it's less inaccurate.

I would also much rather have a mortar than a panzerwerfer. If by some miracle you can tech to t4 as Ostheer then I hope you have the common sense to get one of the other units to actually try to win the game.

The problem is Mortar track > Pwerfer
And Kat > Pwerfer. Pwerfer being the most expensive is the worst out of those 3.

I think panzerwerfer is fine. It does decrew soviet AT gun in one volley. Therefore fullfilling its role.

at what range? if its even medium of its range it has a low chance of de-crewing in 1 volley.

The thing should not have to be closer-than-mortar range to work correctly.

Panzerwerfer does fire all of its rockets in ONE volley and this makes it all the difference and justifies its cost. If you know how to micro Kats and Panzerwefers, the player can do serious damage to support weapons, and lets not forget Ambulance placements. Kat rightfully so is more effective BUT the the volly of rockets can be dodged after the first shot pretty easily. Panzerwerfer leaves no room to dodge.

Off course no Kat Panzerwefer going to suck at range, scatter is terrible on both.

Kat at max range has a far higher chance to hit something than the werfer does. Still of course the chance is not high, but a rocket artillery HT shouldn't have to be used at point blank range, it just means you could do the same with getting more mortars.

No, it doesn't.
Lack of alpha strike over area and barrage extended duration make it perfectly possible for AT gun or whatever is in the area to simply retreat often without casualties.

Bigger scatter values also doesn't make it easier in the slightest.
Also, as it was said already 328918 times in this thread, katy is supposed to shoot from afar and pwerfer from closer proximity.

Asymmetrical balance you know. Same cost, similar role, different execution.

Except the Pwerfer used to be used at exactly the same range the Katyusha was until it had it's rocket amount lowered and it's ability to hit at range decreased.

This isn't asymmertrical balance; it's idiocy. Why should a 85 fuel + teching cost HT that dies in 1 hit have to be used in closer ranges than mortars are used to be effective at all?

And the AT gun or infantry blob can simply move as well, since the area you will be hitting will be rather small. The Kat is able to bombard a larger area and do more damage over a larger area allowing it to deny territory and break up defensive formations. You can't move your AT gun back into line until it stops firing.

With the Pwerf once you dodge it that's it, it doesn't break up any defensive lines because once you dodge it that's it, you can move right back to where you were.

Lets not forget the hang time for the pwerfer and kat truck, Pwerfer has almost 2x the hang time before the first rocket hits. By the time the first werfer rocket hits kat is almost at wave 2.

PW is not as bad as people say it is, imo atleast.
It's a great indirect for late game after losing your mortars etc..
It clears blobs extremely well and the arc of fire allows you to fire from behind a shotblocker of any height so those two facts make it worth getting.

And why should katy and wefer have less hp than kubel in this way, 160 against 190.

Neater should. Stuka Zu Fuss is stupidly durable comparatively to the Pwerfer and the Truck.
