I'm having problems (as of last week) visiting coh2.org with the firefox browser. It just slows to a crawl and I can't use the scrollbar or forward back buttons. Seems to only happen on coh2.org. Eventually I have to end the process via task manager. I'm posting this from explorer, which I hate :/
Is anyone else having these symptoms?
coh2.org on firefox sluggish/broken?

Had some issues while loading CoH2.org with Firefox in the past. The site was freezing for some seconds while opening a new page and/or new tab. I think this was in relation of loading some adds and advertisement f. e. the Grey Goo videos. Updated Firefox and Shockwave to latest versions and disabled a Firefox-Plugin (OpenH246 Videocodec) now it seems to work fine without any issues.

Might be a bad ads only on germany of something. Do you have the same issue with adblocks on?

Good tips, guys. I too think it has something to do with the video ads. I updated flash and firefox and the problem persists. Is "shockwave player" something independent from Adobe flash? I guess I'll try to update that too, and I'll try to "disable Firefox-Plugin (OpenH246 Videocodec)" as well and see if it helps.

* re-installed shockwave player: no help, same problem.
* disabled the firefox plug-in "Cisco’s OpenH264": seems better, not really sure. Nah, it's still sluggish. Right now there is a Homeworld video ad that is freezing every second. These video ads are definitely the problem. When I have other ads, everything is fine.

The Homeworld ad came again so I opened firebug to try to inspect the element and figure out wtf kind of ad that thing is. Didn't recognize anything. Here is the copy of the "Outer HTML", whatever that is. I thought iframe stuff was bad and insecure, so I was surprised to see that it is using iframe.
Code
<iframe src="javascript:'%3C!doctype%20html%3E%3Chtml%3E%3Chead%3E%3Cscript%3Ewindow.addEventListener(%22message%22,function(e)%7Be.source.parent.postMessage(e.data,%22http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net%22);%7D,false);%3C/script%3E%3C/head%3E%3Cbody%3E%3C/body%3E%3C/html%3E'" srcdoc="<!doctype html><html><head><script>window.addEventListener("message",function(e){e.source.parent.postMessage(e.data,"http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net");},false);</script></head><body></body></html>" style="display: none;"></iframe>
