Good news is they updated classic hotkeys for rally point back to Y instead of V. A welcome change for me.

There's a lot more speech, units really let you understand if they are in trouble/what's going on, I like it!

Yeah I've noticed dodging nades is much more possible now. You can see them better (better tracers all around the game), and the units usually scream something along the lines of "we're getting naded!"

I like when a squad walks past the PIV wreck on Kholodny they say "I wonder what took that out...?"

Anyone notice paks show the direction they are facing on the minimap? Awesome.

in closed beta i was playing the game just fine with all settings on high (or even more) , but i tested the game yesterday and i was getting some lag, switching to the tactical map and during normal game my fps dropped significantly.

My pc is more than enough for this game (one year and half old):
MB Sabertooth 990fx, amd phenom II 955BE, sapphire 6850 1gb, 8gb ram 1600mhz kingston hyperx.

with the performance test in options in closed beta i was getting minimum of 30 fps (+-) and maximum of 70/80), now i get 1 fps minimum and less than 50fps maximum, with and average of 29/30.

So in my computer i noticed not and improvement but a drop on fps. I tried other gpu drivers but noticed no difference.

On the other hand i still dont like the tactical map, is far too small and more confusing that coh 1. i have been playing coh 1 recently again and i feel its still easier to play (to see units in screen and in map for example).

Game runs alot smoother now, well done. But how come I can't find Rzhev frontline in the map pool, it was the best map for 2v2s :(

I really like the changes they added, it's way more clear durring blizzards, new speech of some units add some immersion. However i think the minimap is a bit too small.

Interesting hearing about the audio ques. Having played a lot of DoW2 before I got into CoH I got very used to having audio ques as my primary mean of squad preservation. You could hear different things when they were being attacked, taking heavy casulties etc. and it gave you a bigger feeling of control and stronger immersion. CoH lacks that a bit, were they have voicelines for squads dying, which is pretty damn pointless and too little too late.

In this, I'm happy to see that they're going the DoW 2 route.

What do you guys think of the new structure of Kholodny Ferma with the central VP moved to the south and the munitions swapped for a single munitions point in the center? :)

It will increase the number of munition cache for sure. I only played against the AI for now but i think the area near the south VP is now more in favor of infantry, tanks have less room to move. I'm maybe mistaken however x)

has anyone noticed on oka river there are some russian soldiers which just stand there next to the road junction. It's kinda cool to have but feels odd when your running pioneers and grenadiers around them and they do nothing...

First post ! I had a problem starting this coh beta, the game just didnt want to launch after being updated : crash report from bug splat evry single time. If anyone is experiencing this : try to go to proprieties/language then select english, mine was set to french. I figured that when i saw that the error log was about a french file that he didnt found, and i doubdt that there is already a french beta version

I've installed it, but not had time to try it yet. Are you able to zoom out further than you were in the closed beta?

Ive found perfomance on average to be the same as it was but there are definitely bigger perfomance drops at times such as blizzards or explosions.

Gives me lag while moving around map. like small lag...which wasn't present in beta.
