There might be 50,000, but they haven't written in. So far we're at 142.

The tac map is too damn small. I don't understand why it doesn't use all the available space. Icons overlap and its impossible to tell what is where in team games.

If you would kindly look to the right, you would see that there are 1711 users at the time of writing.

I agree. At times I become confused as well. CoH1's tac maps were fine. Some more contrast in color on the tac map in CoH2 and better defined units with smaller, less apparent building icons on the Num0 tac map would be great. (why would buildings be so important to distinguish on the tac map? Not to mention full ability to control the players units from the Num0 tac map would be most excellent.(Havnt yet tested the new stress test's Num0 tac map yet. If its changed then great)

On a positive note the new vehicle icons on the tac map I think are an improvement.

I think so. Although i dont know what happend with blizzards, they must have changed it quite a bit. I have the same settings as in closed beta, but now I get 20 frames LESS during blizzards (it went from around 38 fps to under 20 fps). Dont know what happened there :S

Anyone else noticed this? Assuming not all of us have top notch machines :)

Without blizzards I get 50-60 fps and you can feel the optimization is better.

it feels really good, conscripts got a new ability with vet 1, not tried it yet though. and panzerfausts dont totally wreck m3 s!!! still does good damage and can drive it off, but it isnt an insta kill like it was in closed (80% damage and small arms to kill it)

Panthers seem to do less damage to T-34s or not cause as many critical hits. I am pretty sure they used to cripple the engine a lot.

Wow tac map wow blizzards better (easier visibility) wow UI icons better..... :) wow pathing vastly improved, cheaper firepits (buildable in blizzards), light vehicles wont drive over fire pits... so many improvements. Relic listened!

You don't know how much this means for me! I can actually play this game without pain now, so happy :)

Why did the OP not mention that this stress test is only open to those who played the closed beta?

I think the pathing changes are my favorite improvement of this update. Vehicles are much more responsive now, making them a hellva lot more fun to micro. I've been using the reverse button more too, which is a very useful feature.

Really loving the changes myself, feels more responsive in every way! Seems they are taking the right path. :)

What i've noticed
- P4 command tank now has short barrel gun and it's effective vs inf only
- Panzerfausts are totally lame, deals only 50% HP to HT
- new icons on tanks (damaged engine, killed gunner) is lame IMO
- new icons for almost all units on mini/tactical map - each building has it's own icon (base buildings) and tanks are shown as tanks and how turned they are (which is kinda nice)
