and to OP: HELL NO.
There is no such thing as F2P. The companys (99% of them) are BS us.
I never saw i F2P game where idont have to buy anything, as i said, F2P is BIG AZZ BS.
Well there are some exceptions. I used to play LoL a lot and I can confirm that LoL is 100% F2P, and you can become the best player without spending a buck.
The main issue is developer's greed. Riot games did it right. They have made a fantastic game (I'm not talking about the game being fun or anything, just the mechanics, support, new content etc.) and that's mostly because of the genre they've chosen, so they don't have to rob the customer. They can release new content as long as they are creative. The genre itself has also a huge audience. I've not played DoTA2 but I think that Valve is alo doing it right. Some "casual games" like WoT or War thunder are alo reasonable F2P games.
This can not be said about a game like CoH2. The genre is different, not many people are invested enough in RTS games, and the game itself is not the competitive type (RNG, Awful performance, state of balance etc.) Releasing new content is not very easy for this game either. They might start releasing skins and decals, but at the end they'll end up selling P2W content because even as a F2P game, they are not gonna make a lot of money to keep the things going.
All that being said, I'm OK with the whole F2P thing
if done right, but I don't know if they can pull it off. Larger player base is always welcome.
