It needs to be adjusted but I wouldn't call it the MOST unbalanced. The problem is the funnels of the map but the center of the map is interesting but yes it does need fixed.

Idk what I would change tho

semiosky summer is working on 2v2 more than 1v1 cause players dont lose presence on the field so fast, but its in my 1v1 veto too and winter is annoying due to that much of deep snow but working

If any map is imbalanced its the north side of moscow outskirts. The cutoff point is closer to the middle and is narrow and easy for mgs to lock down, while the fuel point has buildings that can lock it down with 1 mg. (maxims by far the easiest to plop in there.

Just going to say that both Semoskiy's are my most hates maps of all time. For these two reasons:

1. Terrible cut-offs and resource layout.
2. A total mess of buildings in the centre, coupled with a ton of green cover makes it very advantageous towards close quarters combat fighting and therefore allied favoured as both rifles and conscripts work best close range compared to volks and grens which work best at longer ranges.

This.

It's only slightly better than maps like Le Gleize or Stalingrad. The resources are particularly hard to hold because there's no real defensive position to take to hold them that doesn't involve you giving up another important cut off. Very allied favored.

should have included all maps as options and let people pick what they think is the most unbalanced map in coh2. you would have learned far more valuable information that way.

Its my favourite map. On of the few maps where onmap howitzers are not hopeless. Better veto Vaux Fenceland, Rzev, Hürtgen and Lineurx or whatever this is called.

You do realise that Semois was considered the ultimate map in vCoH (1v1)?

Its a map designed for a whole different game.

Its quite obvious that only result will be a HORRIBLE map.

OKW paradise with their trucks and wires and awful to play as any other faction.

Black people having no rights was also considered most awesome thing of the time back then.
Past doesn't translate on current times well.

really? Perfect for shocks,cons, 120mm and katjuscha. I would prefer soviets on this map any time :p

I have some sense of history, and I think I know where you may be coming from as regards ethnicity- but honestly, discussions about acceptance of ethnic minorities, do not fit well into a discussion about maps (IMO).

And so, back to Semois . Clearly, the map had to change, bcs of the new factions - and lo! it was changed...no nearby, near sacrosanct muni points.

They set up trucks in town and around cutoffs, making attacking the town extremely difficult and resource harassment a non-option.
