Community Sleuthing: A Patch Story

As you’ve all seen, we recently released our first patch of 2015 – which felt pretty damn good! While the patch predominantly focused on bug fixes, a few of you adventurous folks pulled a Veronica Mars and found some sneaky stuff hidden in code that alludes to future features or content. Your impressive sleuthing skills only reinforce what we’ve been saying since the new year – that our team is currently hard at work on a lot of amazing things, and that 2015 is going to be a fantastic year for Company of Heroes fans! It’s also been great to see all the “what does it mean” conversations popping up in our community as a result of this, and quite fun to see some of the speculative chatter occasionally wander into the realm of accuracy.

We will have much more information for you all in the coming months, so we hope you’re ready for that.

As one last side note, a few of you were asking who Dana (our Senior Communications Manager) is. Dana stepped in to post our patch notes while I was out of the office, and this seems to have sparked some conversation. My favorite explanation was that he’s my sister, and I wanted to share a photo with you all – the family resemblance is quite striking!

The game files tell so much -

Lets not take for granted that we KNOW that there will be new skins, perhaps a new faction (for sure stuff with brits), ingame currency, customizable commanders, and nearly everything about upcoming MWNL. At least, supposedly planned within the game files. I prefer this over having Nothing to look forward to,

Lol i was thinking this as well from Napalm's post. Does "unintentionally" leaving future projects and plans hidden in the game files count as breaking NDA?
