Not sure if this has been noticed, but I think the 222's MG is broken in that it doesn't fire properly on the move. I think it may be when the car gets upgraded in combat when the MG was in use, but I'm not completely sure.

I mean it fires in its usually long burst when stationary, but on the move it's cut down to barely even being comparable to that.

Did you read the title? Or watch the video? Did you even read the thread at all? Or did you just skim "Coxial Machine-gun broken" and shit out a response?

Oh sweet, and I thought I was the only one.

That would be point 222 on my "things that are unreliable list".

He was not 35 meters away for the vast majority of the video, he was easily in range.

I imagine the gunner in the T-70 is actually a very well trained monkey, who is using both his hands and feet to load and fire the main gun and machine gun whilst tracking the target with the turret. The man that pops up in recon mode is actually a puppet with a periscope inside to fool the Germans into thinking the Russians don't have highly trained tank monkeys.

Ok. Seriously 222 MUST BE a threat to infantry.
In that case the Wehrmacht balance could've been changed.
We could see 222 in all matchup or not.
But IF the 222 is a threat to infantry USF could not have built just infantry and run everywhere. They would think about some protection against an early vehicle.
Same with Soviets. It would definitely delayed some their vehicles or tanks.

Or TAKE RISK.

Currently there is no THAT option.

i like this answer. the monkey would have to be strapped into the turret in order to be able to use all four limbs though, but that's doable.

From the mid of minsk up to the base MGs, I've once followed 2 soviet snipers with a 222, not a single model of them died, needless to say, I've never made one again.

Moral of the story, it's trash, never ever make it.

I stopped using 222's when I noticed they usually died if I took my eyes off them for a second, and never really got their value's worth in the end screen. It's better to just play T1 > T4 and crutch on OKW to do all the heavy lifting until I can get a Panther out to begin the counter-offensive.

222 just isn't what it used to be, I'd rather have an M20 :P

Exactly what i do.I pick festung armor for smoke and pak43.I do go pzgrens for stopgap AT till panther .Rest just spam grens, initial mg,occasional mortar.Lay mines, occasional pak43.
Smoke and hull down makes panther a powerful offensive and defensive option though.
I used to go g43 and tiger in lightning war,had to give up g43 because i dropped tiger for panther because tiger i feel simply lack AT punch these days vs is-2 or jacksons and that doctrine lacks smoke which is crucial vs soviet at guns, jacksons and su-85.
My ideal doctrine would be elite troops which i'm hoping for as drop.Would give me both smoke and g43,plus other useful skills.TA bonus.

I stopped playing 2vs 2 and 1 vs 1 as ostheer because of total turtling meta,no choice but hope to survive until tiger.Hopefully someday they fix it the total ruin that is the tech structure.
The lesser said about 222 'armoured' car and its autofartcannon - the better.

Looks like a bug to me, but who cares even with 5 more MGs it would still suck.

that's debatable. sometimes it does though. the RNG gods favored me today and my sniper got dinged by two mortar rounds (none right on top) that barely hurt him. the third landed very close to him and did about 20 damage. i decided to retreat at that point. got 50 kills on him before he disappeared some point during mid game.
