I have watched the ardennes assault Trailer with great interest. Specially the map that relic Shows us.

It clearly Shows us that switzerland and Germany didnt had any border in 1944 which means that switzerland must have fully joined and become a part of Germany in 1944. On the other Hand it seems that Austria(which was connected with Germany since 1938) has seperated from Germany in 1944 because the map Shows a border between These 2.

The austrians must have lost interest in the war in 1944 and quit Germany and so switzerland must have taken there place.

Since the ardennes assault map clearly Shows us switzerland as a new axis faction what do you expect from the swiss army?

I hope to see the swiss army knife and chocolate cannons from them. Also as a Special ability switzerland could attack USA and soviets with financial santions with there massive bank System.

Cant wait to hear the funny swiss accents.

Jesus christ, you guys aren't going to let this go aren't you. It's not supposed to be a exact territory map.

It's not something that hard to get right. Why should we let this go? If they can't even get this right, what is there to expect from the actual game?

I'd expect heavy Fortifications, a wide array of different Infantry and a f**kton of offmap arty provided from the Réduit.

CHCHCHCHCHCH

Edit: I find it to be a very embarassing fuckup from relic's side tbh.

Airborne paradropping into the battle of the bulge.

They aren't trying to shoot for historical accuracy. Nor was the map supposed to be accurate.

I don't think they care whether the map shown on their trailer for two seconds is accurate. And for a matter of fact, niether should you.

Well perhaps relic should have consulted the history books.
Switzerland remained neutral under arms and was not occupied during WW 1 and WW 2.
...being Swiss I am always happy not to be confused with a Swedish :). Life is complicated... :).

After WWII the Swiss Army used the "Panzerjäger G 13" until the 1970s. This vehicle is nothing else than a later version of the Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer.

Note the 7,5-cm-L/48-Sturmkanone 40 of the StuG III.

So I would love to see Hetzers with the swiss.

no, because this is bordering on blasphemy and such detail missing means that relic has no eye for details and that they are uneducated non-caring pot heads in vancouver, whose product will reflect their almighty ignorance and incompetence.

I think I'm starting to detect a bit of sarcasm.
Edit: I also might be a bit tired and grumpy. Been studying calculus for 4 hours straight now.

This is hilarious. I mean, they even marked Zurich on the map, so I have no idea what they were thinking.

But... but... they had Bf 109s.

Why are people so upset about this? It´s a mistake but mistakes happen. What about SU-85s having more range than a Panther? That´s also false and included on purpose. What about Soviets and USF fighting on the same map... It´s a game. By now we should have learned historic accuracy isn´t part of the game. But god forbid a border on the map isn´t pictured correctly.
