Last round the 120mm managed to chalk up the first win for the allies in the indirect slot.

This round:

Direct Fire Artillery. This includes all AT Guns, Field Guns and other crewed weapons capable of direct fire. As such there is some overlap with the previous poll.

This is somewhat clunky, but allows people to prioritise utility over straight AT if they chose

Builder Unit: Sturmpioneers OKW 58%

Core Infantry: Grenadiers Ostheer 32%

Elite Infantry: Obersoldaten OKW 28%

Unlockable Upgrade: IR STG 44 OKW 47%

Machine Gun: MG42 Ostheer 50%

Indirect Fire: 120mm Soviet 50%

Faction now looks like this:

T0: Sturmpioneers

T1: Grenadiers, MG42

T4: Obersoldaten

CP2: 120mm Mortar

CP3: IR STG

We are unable to build caches, but Grenadiers can build bunkers and Sturms can salvage

Thus far we have not been well served with AT power, only having Gren fausts.

As such the Pak-40 will probably be a shoe in as the second best pure-AT gun; and it's lack of other functions should not be a concern

However:

The M1 has range.

The Zis has a larger crew and more general utility

The Raketenwerfer is early, cheap and can be placed in buildings

Probable non-contenders include:

The 45mm is um, cheap and that's about it

The PAK 43 is immobile and comes too late

The 75mm Infantry Gun has very limited AT

I'm assuming this is the only option that is going to include AT guns and if so the Pak 40 is a must considering the lack of handheld AT.

I was rather torn between the pak 40 and the Zis-3. 6 men and barrage has always been useful.

But Pak40 has better AT, and that is what matters from looking at the infantry that we have so far.

I ll take pak40 since there is 120mm for indirect

It just looks like this unit only consists of very MP intensive units.

Including teching cost you can barey field anything with 400 manpower mortar, 320 at gun, 400 manpower elite infantry, high reinforce sturmpios

Zis 3 just for 6 men crews and 15 mp reinforce costs only reason the zis isn't better than pak now is b/c germans decrew them in -1 seconds

Yes, this will be the only time that AT guns will be included

Next we will start doing vehicles and I am not yet sure how that will break down

I did warn people right at the start that that would be something to bear in mind, and not simply vote for the best and most expensive option each time; if Braciszek does go ahead and mod it when we are finished it will be very interesting to see how it plays.

So far very MP and Munition intensive

Well so far the PAK-40 will win by the highest vote yet; not just because it is good, but also because it synchs well with the rest of the faction so far

How are you going to implement commanders and teching within this faction?

Teching is linear roughly the same as OKH; though costs would not necessarily be the same

There are no Commanders, so this faction is entirely reliant upon it's core.
