I've been looking for the high res concept art for awhile- referenced this very picture for a bunch of the unit avatars actually. They don't seem to be online, nor for sale in a hard copy form, sadly.

Mr Morrison- they're by one David Chambers. Here's his blog: http://davidchambersconcepts.blogspot.sg/2013/06/company-of-heroes-2-concept-art.html

Did Relic use any of his work? Looks like they used some of this German designs.

I must admit that the German concept art just awesome.

Want new infantry skins for the old factions (especially for the Red Army, and their skins are very stereotyped)

Yeah what is it with the Shock Troops skin? They look like Spetsnaz commandos with that camo :huhsign:

shock troops single unit whose skin is almost correct (spot "amoeba" were more)

the remaining skin is very wrong, especially engineers and guards

8 of the models (both winter and summer versions) on the picture are used in-game.

Yeah the Engineer and Conscript squads looks weird. They don't look like the Russian soldiers i have seen in photos and books. But i kinda wish SHock Troops had a more bland look though

Look at how cool the Soviets looked, and they had some sort three-way commander system (Politruk, Guards Army, Shock Army)?

But Relic probably thought Soviets would be too cool and then decided to screw the over

Yes, these concepts are very cool. I am Interested unit: Recon squad with PPSh (but winter Budenovka, lol). why this unit is not entered the game?

And on the concept guards look very interesting. Now in the game, they look like a bunch of punks.
