Bot not responding to commands

Had a player drop in my last game right at the start.

During the match I tried pinging the map to get the bot to attack certain points as usual but nothing happened.. I was quite distinct as I asked it to attack the town on Ora river but instead it pushed all the way down the other side of the map. I tried a few times through the match with no apparent result

the markers would tell the ai where to go adn what to do based on the marker used i don't think it works in coh2.

I remember this worked in coh1. AI would just blob in with everything it had where you pinged

Never tried it in coh2 though.

It did used to work, the attack command would make the bot horde that area

Maybe the new AI changes have broken / disabled this function.

Perhaps the new AI is so good it doesn't need to be controlled.

In which case Relic need to add an automatic feedback message from the bot something like

"Stop pinging the map you gardening noob"

The AI seems to suck at unit preservation now, or the AI in slightly modded battles breaks badly. It refuses to repair tanks and sends out near dead tanks to charge the enemy. It sends out one man squads and sends AT guns into blobs of the enemy's infantry. :/
