Can't play after patch

Hi

So after the last patch i can't play the game. It takes like 5 minutes to finally get into the menu and finally there it is as if the game is capped at 7 fps, everything is suuper slow.
I have never had any issues with coh2 before and I played just fine right before the patch went on. All other games runs just fine so it has to do with the patch somehow.

Tried to uninstall and reinstall the game wich didn't help at all, I really don't know what to do here, anyone have this problem since last patch?

problems with the gameplay has more people, I have also had to adjust the graphics card, the latest patch is not good, it's just a snoop players what to whom is this how I play, I have no interest in showing strangers how I play

This new patch made my Coh2 not load. Steam says preparing coh2 and nothing happens. WOW RELIC PLS FIX.

Had same problem but restarting PC helped me.

I've had FPS issues too, but restarting my PC helped. But I think something Relic has done is effecting the game for quite a few people - even if the change was not intentional.

Same problem here! Cant play the game after latest patch. I get the Coh logo screen, then small Steam window comes down from the left corner reminding me " you can switch to steam by cliking Shit-Tab".
Then steam text starts to flicker and i cant do anything but Ctrl+alt+del to shut down the program.
It seem this patch is totally broken for some. Im running Win 7, ASUS G75

My game continues to run, but it seems that each update does make it more difficult to the computer to get going. I had to put all my video stats to minimum, still it goes as stone age sometimes.
