Is this possible to get email notifications on answered threads ???

I've been wondering the same thing. Or at least a notification upon logging into the site.

Not that I know of. It would also require quite some work getting the connection between a mailserver to read the webpage.

Setting up a new server is more expensive, takes more time to get going and keep going but renting is easier but comes with a lot less options and restrictions.

One of those things which sounds easy but might be alot harder to do.

(Unless Strato has has some kind of service that can be more easily encoded into the website. )

I can deliver SMTP service for the site if wanted ...

I mean have a server able to forward that emails ...

The only question is if the site code is able to notify.

PHP has the ability to send emails, im pretty sure you just need the sendmail package installed.

I would prefer something off the site. If u are logged in it's not a problem to use filters at the bottom.
