RE: Dusty's comments.

I recall similar comments from him just prior to the August patch.

I'd take them with a grain of salt. The community needs 2 weeks minimum with this upcoming patch to correctly judge its quality.

I don't know if there's hope because hope is locked behind the NDA.

There's a difference between fixing the 'balance' of the game and modifying units to be harder or softer counters. So-called overpowered units from faction to faction will often balance each other out in a sort-of grander way. Though mostly I think people are just not creative enough with adapting. Even USF, which is the most agreed upon underpowered army in this patch, is incredibly powerful at any stage if you know what you're doing. My suggestion: use smoke more and stop relying on t4

Can you upload a replay? I'd like to see this in action.

The game is by and large balanceable. Indeed most units are properly balanced, but the outliers are so well known and many of the are so OP that I think they make the situation worse than they appear. If Relic can rein in ridiculous bullshit like ISUs, Soviet snipers, Jagdtigers, Obersoldaten and the like, the game can become fun to play.

I think the starting point should be Ostheer, it's the most balanced faction by a big margin. Apart from LMGs maybe being a little too good and T4 needing a bit more love price-wise, everything is basically where it should be. From there, OKW needs some nerfs, USF needs a few buffs, Soviets needs their OTT units nerfed and their useless ones buffed.

The question of course is whenever Relic will go this way or mess up the balance even more by buffing Obers and nerfing SU-85s or something.

Sierra, quit with the unending negativity. These notes are looking very very good.

Dunno. Haven't played a single game of it yet. I REALLY want you to be right. But I've been with this game since 2007 and one thing I know about Relic's patching history is that its almost always disappointing.

Glad you have a postive attitude about it though. That gives me HOPE. :)

Good for whom exactly?

If you're an Allied fanboy or an Allied player, I'm sure they look great indeed. If you're an Axis player, this are detrimental.

Also I'm not fucking LolCake >_<

Seriously, is it possible that someone just disagrees with the entire Pro-Ally movement that PQ is taking this game towards?

Axis just have been getting reamed by the Nerf Bat every time an Allied player cries.
