You know that is mathematically impossible, right?

Tiger even at 50 range got still more then 155 penetration.

The issue is more getting to that rear armor without hitting a mine, being buttoned, being focused by AT guns, antoher ISU, etc. Which is damn near impossible against a half decent player.

unfortunately because relic implemented rear and front armor in a bad way , aka half the tank has fron and the other half has rear vallue i think it is practically impossible to find the sweetspot we are looking for even approximately they would need to add side armor vallues for this to work

We have identified that mine bug already. The mines sometimes detonate early, causing little or no damage and no critical.

OR it could had been on the back of the tank but the shot landed on the front.

Maybe it was that thing where two tanks that are practically on top of each other can miss the shot?

tbh, tanks had good rear armours, for example Tigers was 80 while front 102, same on others

tl;dr version: rear armor was not stronk. Rear armor should be much easier to penetrate in CoH2; the 'waw its historical' argument is null and void.
