AA is going to have to be pretty impressive to justify it's $40 price tag.

Like rangers riding a Pershing towing a Calliope impressive.

Players won't be high, but I am sure Relic is fucking HIGH

40 Euro / 40 USD is TOTALLY, FUCKING TOO HIGH, for a goddamn SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN.
Together with WFA it is 60 USD, which expansion pack would be THAT EXPENSIVE?

Rangers! I am curious to see how they work since we already have brawler thomson paratroopers. I wonder if they still have their classical thomson + zooka?

My guess they have duel wielding thomson with the side arm pistol. OP OP OP! :D

You're not ambitious enough. Dual wield Thompsons AND bazookas while bare-chested, or they're not real Rangers.

EDIT: 40 friggin dollars for a campaign? Yeah, no, Relic. You're not Blizzard, you can't get away with that shit, and I'm not that much of a die-hard fan. I'll save my money for Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age: Inquisition and get AA once it's on sale.

Seriousy, they are deluding themselves if they think whis will sell a lot.

Fuck me sideways, this has to be a mistake right? $40 for a single player campaign? I thought this was going to be like, $10 or $20...

I mean, okay maybe it has a lot of content, but it's going to need to have a LOT of content to justify that price. And even then I wouldn't buy it, because I don't play the single player stuff :/

Yeah, I mean, Heart of the Swarm was about that price, but the campaign was big, and it came included with new units, and I think it allowed you to play all 3 races in multiplayer if you didn't have Wings of Liberty. So it's a better deal.

AA is 40$ for just a campaign. Even if it's a kickass campaign, it's way too expensive. If I recall correctly, Chaos Rising and Retribution for DOW2 were less expensive than that at 30$, and packed a full fledged campaign as well as multiplayer maps and factions.

A AA + WFA package is worth 43$ (for me in Canada). WFA alone for 22$ was OK. AA for that price? Nope.

I don't get it. Who is forming the prices @SEGA and RELIC? THIS IS MADNESS. Bought collectors edition before it even came out and DLCS its almost over 100 euros and now this. But, I must say, the video production team who made this trailer is godlike. Really nice work but I wont buy this for 40 bucks. GG

To be fair, do we KNOW it doesn't have extra content on top of the single player campaign? Is it possible this also comes with say, Six new commanders (all with new units) for multi-player or something?

I mean, I'm just trying to wrap my head around this pricing, there has to be something more than just the campaign.

Relic when releasing Ardenees Assault

Doubt it tbh, the pricing is waaay too high. It'll have to contain more than the singleplayer campaign to justify that price and we haven't seen any evidence of this so...... I doubt a lot of people will buy it initially.

CoH2 is going for around $44 Canadian on Steam right now. This single player expansion by itself is nearly that much. I expected around $20-$25, to be honest, since this is seen as the 2nd half of the WFA expansion. That would make WFA + AA roughly the price of the base game. Pretty surprised by $40.

I'm taking an almighty break from CoH2 for a while.

I'm fucking disgusted by this price point.

40 Euro? My fucking god. Addons for regular games, with Single Player campaigns AND multiplayer content are traditionally priced 30 Euro (up to 40 Euro when you buy a Blizzard addon nowadays). Now they put the Multiplayer thing into a seperate thing for 20 Euro which is fair enough as I wasn't interested in the SP campaign anyway so it is in the end cheaper for me, but how are they justifying single player only content for 40 Euro?

The campaign would have to be absolutely stunning and have epic length to justify the cost, which I cannot believe judging by the quality of Relics campaigns in DoW2 and CoH2.

Who really cares about single player, yeah it helps with newer players, but competitive multi-player keeps the player base involved.
