background video on the main menu

does anyone know if its possible to turn off the background video on the main menu? I feel like if it wasnt there the menu system would be 100% less laggy. You cant really even see the video any way because the menus covers it up.

Not that I know of. Turn down the UI opacity in the menu and watch it because you don't have a choice.

you can change the video in the background to anything but havent tried to remove it. try deleting the video file in the game directory.

The background is merely a looping webm located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Company of Heroes 2\CoH2\Movies. You could try changing it to something smaller in size. The files of interest are fe_intro_loop.webm and fe_online.webm, although both are relatively small in size.

video shouldn't be making your comp laggy if your going to game.

T34/76 is NOT a joke on my hands; Maybe on your hands you make it suck shit? but on me, No. I can kill a stug with a little micro, go toe to toe with a Panzer 4. Is it a joke? LOL T34/85 is apparently a very good tank. But no one says it "one hit wipe" or elefant penetration; up to a point i think this little medium tank just have too much health and too much firepower with that fuel cost.
