it is a howitzer, nor an infantry . What is your problem? Dont lose models, that is it. Plus it works with 3 man as i see.
Its a howitzer with mortar range.
How do you plan on using it without bringing it into charms way?

a few patches ago, i found out that it was 48mp per member to reinforce. i thought that was bad...

Being probably one of the few players who uses this even after the direct-fire nerf, the main thing it needs imho, is a cost decrease, a fix on the crew price and maybe either less scatter or reduced reload for standard HE(not HEAT) rounds (not both). Maybe, maybe extend the barrage from three to something higher.
I used to think it was a mortar unit that fire directly, but it's a direct-fire gun that can act like a pseudo mortar/howitzer.

It's actually a very good unit, but only excels in certain scenarios.
-Use it against blobs. It has HUGE AOE, especially at mid-range. If it fires into a blob of 3-4 squads it's going to thin the herd in a jiffy.
-Stall blobs into firefights while it auto-fires
-2 of these, while expensive, will make blobbers really pay the price
-Once it gets HEAT round, it's a decent stand-in for the 57mm against light and medium tanks
-Barrage is terrible and does almost no damage... use it only when autofire is not an option
-It's possible to autofire and then barrage fire a shell immediately after for a double shell... one other niche use for barrage
-White phosphorous doesn't seem cost effective since it doesn't kill anything. Might be alright against OKW reinforcement point before bum-rushing it with your army.
