if they do it maps should be have a day&night cycle instead of different maps. night maps also just look worse becayse all details are less visible

In the OKW trailer there is Ettelbruck at night, though I don't really like that map.
that atmosphere setting used on the trailer is extreme to make explosions and flares more eye-catching. but if you look at night atmospheres featured in many TOW missions, they are not that bad and add a pretty nice spin on maps.

Unfortunately custom maps are hardly played in multiplayer. If you go custom lobbies you usually have rather noobish players. I'd put much more maps into automatch with the option to give you more vetos.
