Anyone get the bug where you tell them to retreat but still continue fighting like normal? They have the retreating icon above their heads but they wont retreat until I hit "stop" then "retreat"

This bug has been there for ages, but with the recent patches it seems to have gotten worse. Before it was very rare, now it sometimes happens many times during a game. I have the feeling it mostly affects the maxim and the USF .30 cal.

The same is true of retreating Rakettenwerfer crews. they stop and have to be re-retreated, so it's not a maxim only problem. Just want to know if this is a bug or a "feature"....

I saw Grens going straight to my 120mm so I clicked T really fast and forgot about that (focused on others things). I was so surprised when I saw 2 man-left who were fighting - not running...

Happened with an opponent's 50cal. The bug let me capture it, send it back to base, heal it and vet it with Elite Troops *shakes head*

I displaced out a RE squad with an OKW truck the other day, he started retreating the dude scattered and eventually just stopped retreating and resumed the firefight. Utterly bugged.

i've also had units being suppressed on retreat through mg/kubel fire.

Needless to say they got wiped. So effin stupid.

With all these retreat bugs, starting to think the "Not One Step Back" commander would be a straight bonus. Stuff can't retreat anyways.

Side note: Has that commander been released/will it be soon?

Retreat bugs and abilities that doesn't activate after clicking them (like grenades, button, etc) need to be fixed asap.

Fuck this bug. It happened to many times to me yesterday. I would click "retreat" and the next thing i know, the retreat button disappeared after a little bit, and my units continued to fight on, and die.

It is necessary that they do a patch only to fix the million bugs this game has. If they don't do it, people will have a big laugh when the game goes to ESL.

Seeing a Sturm flanking my maxim, if I hit retreat the moment they come out of the fog, there is a good chance the maxim will still be wiped. Also had it happen to cons.
I seriously thought no retreat was a specific commander, not something all soviet squads did native.

This is seriously a gamebreaking bug. SO much frustration. So much anger. You should retreat right away if you see units sturms flanking because a little delay = instawipe due to bug

We are talking about "support" weapons, that means they should normaly be behind your storming troops!

I can live with that "bug" because if Iam loosing my attack force I have enough time to retreat my support weapon.

Maybe you all have to rethink how u r working with them.

I think the animation should not be broken when the gunner gets killed.

Yes I hope so too. The gunner model constantly getting sniped off while the team keeps trying to replace the gunner is horrible. This combined with the retreat makes having a maxim squad deadly for the user lol
