Best computer for coh2 for anything other then min settings I would say a Crey Super Computer with Quad GeForce Titans. Dat optimization. MVGame

The PTRS's are fine as they are. Whenever i'm up against Guard Infantry, I always have to be careful with my vehicles or the Guards will completely destroy them. Good range, good damage and fairly cheap; if anything, the PTRS should nerfed since it's ridiculously good for the price. Even in the hands of Conscripts, the PTRS's are extremely potent.

try turning vsync off. also, check ssd space to be at least 15% free


I'll try that tonight. But isn't V-Sync good to have enabled if your screen can't show more than 60 FPS? Not sure about this, correct me if I'm wrong.

You shouldn't be having any problems with that rig. How are your temperatures while running games?


CPU: Around 40 degrees Celsius when idle, between 55-65 degrees Celsius when playing CoH2.

GPU: Around 30-35 degrees.

ludd3emm - What kind of lag do you experience? Is it a FPS drop or is it units freezing?
First one means the lag is actually due to the performance of your PC.
Second one means it's due to server connection. Using WLan, having a router with a lot of gadgets hooked to it, Noun gnawing on the server cable again, ... there can be many reasons. Speed of your connection alone isn't everything.



A bit of both to be honest. The most common is FPS drops. It is not often lag spikes but rather that it feels like everything is slower.

Could motherboard and/or PSU affect performance?

I have this motherboard: http://www.msi.com/product/mb/B75MAP45.html#hero-overview

And only a 550W power supply.

And btw, thank you all for your answers, really nice to actually get some help in this matter. :new:
