I noticed this before with shermans, but had no replay to back it up. Tanktraps do not stop vehicles for some reason. Watch at 12:30, the Stuart passes the obstacles without a problem:

Keep in mind that the tanktrap line was built without interruption, which sometimes would let vehicles pass.

Back in 2.602 patch cameout relic attempted to fix tank traps on infr Briges or Infr not being able to pass them ( sometimg with infr movement probs) but relics fix was to increase the trap spread by a little and now every once in a blue moon they can go through i think

Well, I already saw this in some games, especially in Duclair (?).
Not enough to call the tanktraps useless tho.

Yes, if you tank trap the northern hill tanks are able to find a way through the gaps between the tank traps. Seems to be an issue with the gradient. Afaik there are no issues with flat underground.
