AT gun micro guide?

Is there some tips for using AT guns? Only time they seem work is when they are idle and i dont touch them and enemy tank just happens to come from right direction. If i target enemy tank, shit happens like 50% time.

Clicking on the tank if, there out of range will get your at gun to move into max range and set down facing them. If they move back the at gun will the pick itself back up and move again trying to get into range. You want to micro them with the right-click and drag.
