So this is a bug ? Or maybe not, but before WFA you could zoom in near units and hear them talking about random stuff and there would also be things that units say when they encounter certain other units.

Now that's gone.I don't seem to be hearing that anymore at all. It's not a big thing, but i felt that that really added to the atmosphere of the game.

Check your sound settings. Maybe setting quality to high fixes it?

I hear it from time to time, not as often as it should be though. Love these little details. "I met one of my students the other day..." Adds some athmosphere to the game.

I don't hear any chatter anymore either. I was assuming its because the new factions don't have any banter.

The new factions do chatter. Today I heard one of my volksgrenadiers saying something about how thankfull he was that they had good NCO's and good equipment. And how they would lose the war if they didn't have that.

Seems to be lower than usual, even for the new factions. Ostheer and Soviets are missing theirs in my game and the few replays I've watched of other casters showing the new factions versus the old, I don't really hear it at all.

I definitely have not heard this guy in awhile.

Well, that's funny considering right off the bat they're less equipped than Osttruppen and their NCO is no better than them (who are slightly better than Conscripts).
